Multiple options for what the file name is saved as

Currently it saves it as the date and notes. We could care less about the date and time being in the file name as long as it’s in the metadata. We would rather the extension be shorter and contain more pertinent information such as notes, tags, user. As well as be allowed to determine in what order the data is used to structure the file name. And what character we want to use as the separator between data or no separator at all. For example Form containing an add file name convention button These should be dynamic and allowed to drag and drop and rearrange and delete the various choices Choices; Manual entry (Can have a set word or phrase to include in every file) Notes (The information captured in the notes without the title of the note, just the data) Separator (by default there should be no separator, however users should be able to choose if they want to separate each entry by a character or characters - “_” or “ “ or “&” or “#” Date Time Location We should have multiple options on how we want file-names to be formatted. Currently we are having to use a separate tool to bulk rename the files and remove the prefixing date and time.

Multiple tag selection and customization of tag formatting

Currently it only allows you to select one tag. Our goal is to streamline data capture for our techs, so having preset tags is essential in that, however currently it’s almost quicker to have multiple notes and have techs enter in data versus using the tags feature because it’s extremely limited. Our techs should be able to add multiple tags and choose in what order they are displayed. for example Tag that says Before Tag that says Tray1 Both selected and on the same picture Also Tags should be customized to allow different colors attached to different tags in most major tech industries certain colors mean different things and it can get confusing if we have no choice on how our tags are formatted and displayed For example if it’s Red then most people immediately think urgent or dangerous or bad We would only want tags to be colored like that if the image captured is related to such events.

Save original photo to team workspace

I have noticed that the “Auto save original photo” setting saves the photos without the template to the phone’s camera roll, even when the “save photos to teamspace only” setting is also on. It would be really helpful to have the original photos for marketing purposes in addition to the timestamped photos, so it would be good if they saved to the team workspace and not our techs’ phones. We also don’t want them saving photos of clients’ homes to their phones. So it would be really helpful if the “auto save original photo” feature had an option to save this photo to the timemark workspace. It would also be nice if these settings were able to be set from the admin side so that we could easily standardize settings we want across the company. When trying to find a workaround, I noticed another problem. When no template is on, the metadata sometimes does not record location, only coordinates. When I open one of these photos though the web browser version of timemark, the field for location says “Location data is unavailable due to missing permissions.” If I turn on a template before taking the photo, but make no other changes, the location shows up fine. A quick glance through our account suggests that this might be a problem specifically with the android app because photos taken by our techs with iphones don’t seem to have this problem. As always, thank you for a wonderful product! It has been really helpful to see the photos our different teams are taking throughout the day which helps us in the office stay informed as to how far along in a project they are, and your app has allowed us to start sending our hive management clients photos of their bees whenever we check on their hives, which adds a lot of value to our service.
